PROD 4015 Design Ethics and Circularity 3.0 Credits
In this course, students will study the ethical implications of design decisions on society and the environment. Students will evaluate the impact of design decisions throughout the product lifecycle and learn strategies to measure impact and to reduce harm to people and the planet through inclusive, ethical, and circular design. To assess the broader implications of design decisions, students will analyze design case studies through the lenses of normative, environmental, culturally informed ethical philosophies, and professional codes of ethics.
