PSY 2130 History and Systems of Psychology 3.0 Credits
This course examines the historical foundations of modern psychology, with emphasis on the growth, contributions, and decline of major systems and theories. This course reviews what constitutes the best way to examine “mind” and “behavior”—the central domains of interest in our field. Students will review philosophic, historic, and eventually scientific developments that preceded the advent of psychological science.
