PSY 3110 Health Psychology 3.0 Credits
This course will encompass an overview of theories that demonstrate the link between stress and illness, as well as general principles of health psychology, such as the psychological management of chronic illness, the mind-body connection, and the role of psychologists in medical and health settings. The course will focus both on general models demonstrating how psychology can affect physical health and well-being and on the psychosocial factors that are relevant to disorders.
