PSY 3140 Forensic Psychology 3.0 Credits

This course will provide students with basic information regarding this area of specialization for psychologists. This course begins with an introduction encompassing the definition of the area, the scope of the field, and an overview of the relevant methods used in the practice of forensic psychology. Students will examine a number of legal questions for which judges and attorneys can be informed by forensic psychological evaluation; these legal questions will include criminal, civil, and family law.
