PTRS 8540 Kinesiology Across the Lifespan 4.0 Credits
This course provides foundational knowledge, skills, functional, and clinical aspects of the musculoskeletal system related to movement across the lifespan. Students will examine the anatomical, biomechanical, and physiological principles underlying human movement throughout the body. Laboratory experiences emphasize observation, analysis, and application of biomechanical principles to functional activities. Students develop skills in movement analysis and apply kinesiology concepts to support clinical reasoning and examination relevant to physical therapy practice.
