PTRS 9030 Neuromuscular Management II 2.0 Credits
This course advances competency in examination, differential diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention for individuals with neurologic conditions across the lifespan, emphasizing progressive and chronic disorders. Students refine clinical reasoning to modify plans of care across disease stages and care settings. Lifespan considerations include pediatric-to-adult transition and aging with progressive conditions. Emphasis is placed on progression and regression of interventions, outcome measurement, equipment prescription, discharge planning, and justification of skilled services. Students integrate evidence to support clinical decision-making and prognostication.
