PTRS 9060 Cardiopulmonary Management 4.0 Credits
This course designed to provide exposure to the anatomy and physiology, and function of the cardiac, vascular, and pulmonary systems. Functional performance is examined in the context of both normal and pathophysiological responses, including how the body compensates for disease and the resulting implications for clinical management. Laboratory sessions are designed to introduce the student to assessment and treatment strategies for the patient with cardiopulmonary dysfunction with a focus on evidence-informed clinical decision making.
