PTRS 9274 Seating and Mobility 2.0 Credits
This elective course focuses on the pediatric and adult wheelchair user. Diagnosis-specific impairments will be integrated into the decision-making process for specific wheelchair components, ranging from power source to positioning. Completion of this elective course will prepare students to independently lead a wheelchair evaluation, determine necessary steps for the end user to receive their equipment, and perform device or equipment training with the end user.
