PTRS 9400 Clinical Experience I 4.0 Credits
Clinical Experience I is a full-time supervised clinical education experience designed to support the student’s transition from didactic and laboratory learning to patient care. Students apply foundational knowledge and skills in real clinical environments while developing professional behaviors, communication skills, and basic clinical reasoning. Under supervision, students participate in patient examination, intervention, documentation, and team interactions, with an emphasis on safety, reflection, and guided clinical decision-making for patients with primarily straightforward presentations.
