REMD 3375 Real Estate Finance 3.0 Credits

This course examines the financial principles and decision-making processes underlying real estate investment and development. Students explore sources of funding, interest rates, leverage, and taxation while analyzing mortgages, capitalization rates, and secondary markets. Emphasis is placed on valuation using the income approach, risk and feasibility analysis, lease valuation, and portfolio management. Through pro-forma modeling and case studies, students learn to evaluate financing strategies and enhance property value.
