SBUS 2230 Sports and the Law 3.0 Credits
This course reviews the legal and regulatory aspects, elements, and relationships among all constituents participating in sports, including administrators, coaches, athletes, agents, vendors, sponsors, facility managers and owners, and spectators. Students will analyze seminal court cases and develop the analytical thinking skills necessary to evaluate complex legal challenges in the sport industry. Emphasis is placed on understanding the inextricable links between law, business ethics, and decision-making, preparing students to approach sport business with both critical reasoning and ethical responsibility.
