SBUS 3386 Sports Analytics 3.0 Credits
Theory, development, and application of analytics in sport. Students with an interest in careers in sport analytics or in applying advanced statistical methods to sports should take this course. The application of analytics in sport for purposes of evaluating player performance, managerial decisions, pricing, and other areas in sport industry operations. As an elective, it provides additional depth for interested students. Students will learn to apply key concepts, analyze real-world situations, and communicate evidence-based recommendations.
