SE 6210 Modern Software Production 3.0 Credits

This project-based course focuses on developing realistic, high-quality software systems in professional and industrial settings. Students integrate advanced knowledge of requirements analysis, design modeling, agile processes, CI/CD pipeline, static analysis, software evolution, and technical debt management while collaborating with AI tools to produce and evaluate industrial-grade software. Emphasis is placed on mastering the roles of designers and managers, leveraging AI for efficient implementation, and critically reviewing AI-generated artifacts. Several industrial case studies are used to illustrate best practices and real-world challenges in large-scale software development.
