SE 7910 Software Production Capstone 3.0 Credits
This capstone course provides a high-intensity, integrative experience in professional software engineering. Student teams are embedded within real-world ventures, from startups to research labs to established corporations, to build and deploy a significant, large-scale software product. The course focuses on software engineering best practices required to move a complex project from concept to a robust, scalable, and maintainable system. Students will be responsible for system architecture, specification, agile development, continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD), and quality assurance, often in interdisciplinary teams. The goal is to deliver a professionally architected, production-ready contribution to the stakeholder.
