SMT 606 Social Issues in Sport 3.0 Credits

This course provides a detailed analysis of the sociology of sport. Areas of focus include gender, race, the economy, the media, politics, and religion. This course will provide an opportunity for students to explore each of these components in an in-depth manner, and they will be able to apply their knowledge of sport sociology to the industry, via CSR and DEI initiatives.
