SOC 1015 Social Problems 3.0 Credits
This course introduces sociological approaches to and explanations of a variety of current social problems in the United States and globally. Students will analyze and discuss topics that include how we define social problems, different forms of stratification and inequality, social institutions, and moral panics, including drugs/alcohol, youth subcultures, sex, and technology.
