SOC 2042 Research Design - Quantitative Methods 3.0 Credits
Provides an introduction to quantitative methods, techniques, and statistical analysis of social science data. Covers research design, measurement, sampling, and ethics in research. Provides hands-on experience with data management, organization, and analysis, as well as interpretation and presentation of results. Topics include frequency distributions, cross-tabulations, T-Tests, correlation, bivariate regression, and hypothesis testing using SPSS or R.
