STAT 9925 Multivariate Analysis II 3.0 Credits
This course is about covariance-based structural equation modeling, CBSEM. It is the sequel to STAT 9924 Multivariate Analysis I. Students will learn CBSEM theory, fit indices, regression and path analysis in CBSEM, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) in CBSEM, interactions, formative indicators, comparison of nested models, indirect effects, and fixing and freeing elements in the model. Students will be able to read data from a covariance matrix, perform multiple group analysis, saturated model analysis, categorical data EFA, and bootstrapping, by setting freeing and fixing parameters, starting values, and equalities.
Repeat Status: Not repeatable for credit
Prerequisites: STAT 924 [Min Grade: B] or STAT 9924 [Min Grade: B]
