STAT 9931 Statistics for Economics 3.0 Credits
The objective of this course is to introduce the student to mathematical statistics as it applies to probability and distributions, random variables, mathematical expectations, sampling distributions, decision theory, estimation theory, hypotheses testing, culminating in regression and correlations and analysis of variance, including outlier analysis, heteroskedasticity, VIF, issues of autoregression, logistic regression, ANONA models, GLM, and PCA.
