THY 5001 Assessment of Tinnitus and Sound Sensitivity 1.5 Credit
Tinnitus and sound sensitivity are widely prevalent conditions that significantly impact quality of life, mental health and functional well-being. Accurate assessment is critical for differential diagnosis, interdisciplinary management and patient-centered care. This course provides the knowledge and tools necessary for evaluation. Students will integrate psychoacoustic measurement, validated self-report tools, neurophysiological frameworks and case-based clinical reasoning to develop comprehensive, evidence-informed assessment protocols applicable across healthcare settings.
