THY 5002 Management of Tinnitus and Sound Sensitivity 1.5 Credit
Tinnitus and sound sensitivity are among the most common and complex complaints encountered in audiology practice, often requiring long-term rehabilitative management beyond diagnostic evaluation. As frontline providers for these conditions, audiologists must be prepared to deliver structured, evidence-based rehabilitation that reduces distress, improves sound tolerance and restores participation in daily life. Emphasizing audiology-led counseling, sound-based therapy, technology integration and interdisciplinary coordination, this course prepares students to confidently implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs within contemporary audiology practice settings.
