This course examines tinnitus and sound sensitivity through a population health lens, focusing on epidemiology, risk factors, prevention, healthcare access, and policy implications. Students will explore environmental and occupational contributors, health disparities, and the economic burden associated with these conditions. Emphasis is placed on developing prevention strategies, community interventions, and policy-informed approaches to improve awareness, access to care, and population-level hearing health outcomes.
