TVMN 506 The Field of Television Management 3.0 Credits
In the course, students will develop a grounded view of how large and far-ranging the industry is; trends and dynamics reshaping the industry; frameworks for analyzing industry players; relevant strategic perspectives; and the creative, distribution and consumer-experience dynamics that characterize today’s television and media businesses. Students will end the term with a strategic proposal presentation, recommending a course of action for a particular industry player based on current research, organizational mission / business models, and long-term objectives.
