URBS 6710 Civic Engagement and Participatory Planning 3.0 Credits
This seminar course develops students' capacity to engage communities in participatory planning through hands-on training in facilitation, intercultural communication, group dynamics, and public outreach. Students work in collaboration with Philadelphia community residents to build trust and learn by doing.
