WRIT 3720 Writing and the Brain 3.0 Credits

Explores connections between writing and the brain, especially how writing can access parts of the brain responsible for thinking, language, creativity, healing and working memory. Students will be exposed to easy-to-understand neuroscience that illustrates ways to stimulate, nurture, and hone the brain into the ultimate learning and writing machine. Students will experiment with different approaches to writing to expand how they understand writing and how they see themselves as writers.
