MFSP 541S Fundamentals of Forensic Chemistry 3.0 Credits

This course is designed to introduce students to the principles of laboratory techniques that will give them a command of concepts, practices and language. Through lectures and laboratory exercises, students will learn essential laboratory techniques, concepts, and procedures commonly used in forensic chemistry labs. The course will cover foundations of forensics investigation, proper and safe procedures for laboratory use, Quality Assurance and Quality Control of forensic investigation and integrative investigation lab techniques to work within a multidisciplinary field.
