MFSP 583S The Autopsy in Clinical Forensic Medicine 2.0 Credits

The autopsy is recognized as a necessary part of medicine. Apart from establishing the final diagnosis, the autopsy relates the cause of death to the associated pathologies and explains the interaction between the two. Although medicine has improved to a great extent, and ante-mortem diagnosis is much more accurate and thorough, there still are significant discrepancies between clinical and post-mortem diagnosis. In this course, the science of recognizing and interpreting diseases and injuries in the human body, is the basis of the doing an autopsy in the laboratory.
