NUAN 802 Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Practicum V 3.0 Credits
This is the fifth of seven nurse anesthesia clinical practicum courses. In Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Practicum V, students integrate the knowledge and skills developed in the Nurse Anesthesia Clinical Practicum I-IV courses to safely administer anesthesia for patients with significant comorbidities undergoing more complex elective or emergency surgical procedures. Utilizing increasing critical thinking and decision-making skills, students integrate evidence based findings and collaborate with preceptors to deliver culturally competent perianesthesia care across the lifespan.
