NUPR 623 AGPCNP IV: Evidence-Based Clinical Management for Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Populations IV 5.0 Credits

This is the fourth course in a series of four clinical courses for the graduate student studying to become an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. This course is designed to further develop clinical competency to provide a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to the older adult in the primary and long-term care setting. This course fosters the development of adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioners in providing evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required in this course.
