NUPR 671 PNP II: Evidence-Based Clinical Management for Infants, Children, and Adolescents in Primary Care II 5.0 Credits

This course provides the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner student with an introduction to episodic and emergency management of infants, children and adolescents. This course will prepare the student to assume the role of primary care provider, and to support the collaborative responsibility of other health care members in meeting the healthcare needs of children from birth through adolescence. This course fosters the development of pediatric nurse practitioners in providing evidence-based clinical care through the integration of advanced diagnostic reasoning, advanced medical intervention, and advanced pharmacotherapeutic intervention. Faculty-supervised clinical practicum is required in this course.
