CMGT 2501 Material and Methods 3.0 Credits

This course introduces the fundamental aspects of building technology and construction with exposure to materials, structure and building systems that form the basis of architectural design and building practice. Provides a framework for the exploration of construction in the context of design. Additionally, this course examines how materials perform structurally, environmentally, and aesthetically, and how their properties influence architectural form and detailing.
