CMGT 3302 Construction Estimating 3.0 Credits

This course covers the estimating function and the application of material quantity survey techniques used to estimate the costs of construction projects. Students will learn both approximate and detailed methods of construction estimating, along with their practical uses and related computer applications. The course also introduces the pricing and bidding processes for construction work, including the evaluation of cost factors, labor and equipment expenses, and productivity considerations.
