CMGT 3310 Real Estate Development 3.0 Credits

This course introduces the principles and processes of real estate development from project conception through planning, financing, design, construction, and asset management. Students examine market analysis, site selection, feasibility studies, zoning and land-use regulations, project financing, stakeholder coordination, and development risk management. The course also explores sustainability, mixed-use development, public-private partnerships, and emerging trends shaping the built environment. Through case studies and project-based learning, students develop an understanding of how real estate projects are planned, evaluated, and delivered.
