CMGT 3510 Masonry Construction 3.0 Credits

This course introduces students to the materials, methods, and management of masonry systems used in building construction. It covers brick, block, and stone construction; mortar types; structural and non-structural applications; detailing and workmanship; and relevant codes and standards. Students also explore quality control, safety practices, and the role of masonry in sustainable and durable building design.
