This course is a hands-on exploration of how a wide range of emerging technologies, including emerging analytic approaches, biotech, clean energy, health innovations, advanced manufacturing, and digital assets/currencies, are reshaping markets and the future of work. Students scout real-world opportunities and constraints, examine ripple effects beyond the immediate impact, and design solutions that create real value for users and society, are ethical, sustainable, and commercially viable. Along the way, they create prototypes and run user or stakeholder tests to make informed choices among competing priorities and real-world constraints.
