MUSC 1401 Rock Music Through the Eras 3.0 Credits

Rock music has been both a reflection of and catalyst for social, political, and cultural change since the late 1940s. This music not only reflects the soundtracks of the lives of each era, it also has been a tool for social change, political turns, and broad cultural shifts. This course will pair the changes within rock music and the events which shaped those changes, as well as the effects that the music had, and continues to have, on Western cultural identity.
