THTR 3201 Directing Fundamentals 3.0 Credits
This class will introduce students to a series of craft-based tools that are essential for directors to interpret a text and collaborate with a cast of actors and designers on the realization of a fully staged ten-minute play. The course introduces students to the craft of directing including text analysis, interpretation, rehearsal procedures, staging techniques, and director-actor communications. This course prepares students to be creative leaders.
