The Creativity & Innovation graduate minor equips students from any discipline with the essential creative problem-solving skills and core competencies of innovative leadership indicative of creative leaders. Whether you're in science, technology, business, the arts, education, or public service, this minor provides a powerful toolkit of strategies and mindsets to amplify your creative strengths and turn ideas into impactful outcomes. From ideation to implementation, you'll learn how to apply creativity to address complex challenges and pursue new opportunities, both personally and professionally. Courses emphasize practical, interdisciplinary approaches to innovation that support leadership, collaboration, and adaptability in a rapidly changing world.  

In today's environment of constant change, complexity and competition, creativity is not optional, it is essential. Successful organizations increasingly rely on individuals at every level to generate novel ideas and contribute meaningfully to innovation. The Creativity & Innovation graduate minor empowers graduate students - future leaders, managers, educators, researchers, and creators - with the awareness and skills to distinguish themselves as agents of change.

Admission Requirements

Students wishing to pursue the Creativity & Innovation (C&I) graduate minor will:

  • be a Drexel University graduate student in good standing
  • successfully complete an interview with the School of Education's C&I Program Manager
  • complete a Graduate Minor Form with the School of Education's C&I Program Manager
